Charlie Norton found out about Donna while looking for her as a "Lost Sheep."

Charlie wrote: "I found a Donna Rulien on Google and sent a message. I got a reply, but oddly enough it turned out to be the MHS's Donna's sister-in-law. She married the MHS's Donna's brother. So anyway, she informed me that Donna had passed away in Jan 1982 of breast cancer."

As far as we know, this makes Donna our first classmate to have died, less than 17 years after graduation, at about 35 years of age.
