Let me tell you what I've been up to... MIKE DiGIURO

I attended MHS (also MJHS) from 7th grade to 10th grade. I left Madrid in the summer of 63; went to Oscoda Michigan, graduated from Oscoda High School; then on to Central Michigan University. I graduated from Central. I married in July of 69; went into the Army in March of 70. I was stationed in Germany from 70-73. My oldest son (Thad) was born in Heidlburg in 1971. After having achieved the lofty rank of 1LT, we returned to US (Ft Knox) summer of 73. My other son (Trent) was born there in July of 73. I got out of Army in September of 73 and headed north. Got as far as Louisville, KY, ran out of money and had to stop and get a job. I've been with the same company for 25 years -- Flexible Materials. We are in the wood veneer business. At Flexible Materials I've progressed from foreman, through various sales, marketing and manufacturing positions. Now I am Vice President of Product Development. I've been married to the same lady (Ann Lauhoff) for 29 years next month. My sons grew up. Thad graduated from Clemson University in 1993, and is now in market research. Trent went to the University of Kentucky where he was an honor student and played on the football team. He was killed in July of 94. (A long sad story for another day.) My hobbies (none of which I have much time for) are wood- turning, writing crackpot letters to the editor of the local paper, and golf. I'm not much good at any of them. Luckily golf is like sex, you don't have to be any good at it to enjoy yourself. Mike DiGiuro 1510 Goshen Lane Goshen, KY 40026 Home 502 228 8218 Work 502 267 7717 Ext. 203
