EDWARD (EDDIE) BENNETT
 


Married 29 years to Ruth Wilhelm.  We live in Mascoutah Il 
(25 mi east of St. Louis) with our youngest daughter Mary.  
Mary is 16 and is a Jr. at MHS.  She is an excellent and active 
student.  We have three grown children, Tom (Micro-Biologist), 
Scott (Structural Eng) and Karen (Music Teacher).  Scott  was 
married last Nov. and we have no grandchildren yet.
 
Everyone is smarter than me, which presents a real challenge 
to me.  I work as an Eng. for GTE (27 yrs) and Ruth is an 
accountant. The whole family enjoys music and all of us are 
singing or have sung in various choirs.  Last year I joined 
the Belleville Masterworks Chorale.  We sing mostly classical 
music which is challenging but usually beautiful. (I am a 
tenor).  We give 4 performances a year, the final being 
broadway music.  I'm looking forward to that; I'm also looking 
forward to seeing many of you at the reunion(s).
